reddit is fun
“reddit is fun” (yes, all in lowercase) is a clean and simple app that mirrors the sparse lines and faded blue of reddit.com, the popular site for discovering interesting News and customized recommended links. You can do almost everything on reddit with this app, upvote and downvote stories, track your karma, comment on discussions, and see your messages. If you have an existing account, the same subreddits will be visible through the app as well.
The app also does image and story previews, just like the main website, but it doesn’t quite work as well because the thumbnails are just too small to make sense. The app is open source, and there are a few copies floating around the Android Market. This is the original and the developer remains very responsive to reddit API changes and updates. All in all, this is a very good interface into reddit and the app works very well on the Droid Incredible.
