AK Notepad
The unusually-named AK Notepad app is a highly effective note-taking and reminder application. It is one of those Droid Incredible apps that can slowly creep up on your daily use until you find it indispensable for your productivity. It’s a simple yet powerful note-taking app that also lets you apply reminders to specific notes. These reminders then show up on your Droid Incredible’s notification bar. It’s also fully customizable, with plenty of options for color, fonts, and sizes. There is a very useful search feature, and you can sort notes by title or date.
There’s more to AK Notepad than is evident at first sight. You can share notes through text messages or email quite easily, and you can even attach a specific note to your homescreen. The latter feature is perfect for those who find that “out of sight is out of mind” applies to them. You can keep fresh notes and reminders stuck on one of your Droid Incredible’s homescreen and you’ll be set. Notes can be organized by labels (hashtags – all of which begin with “#”) and you can apply multiple labels to a single note. These are very useful for searching and discovering old notes.
