SportsTap is a centralized sports app that can display stats, schedules, live scores, as well as team and player information on your Droid Incredible. It lets you tap into a whole host of different sports, including NCAA Football and Basketball, NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL, ATP Tennis, Golf, soccer and on and on. It presents live scores, historical statistics, team information, schedules, and other relevant details for each sport. You can track your favorite teams with SportsTap and it’ll send out notifications whenever there’s News about your team.
The app also lets you create and manage your own fantasy league. The interface lists all your selected sports on a grid and marks new information by the unread item count on each icon. Stories are updated whenever you launch the app, or if you leave it running in the background. The impact on battery life is minimal. Live scores are not quite “live”, often showing a noticeable delay compared to television numbers – but very usable none the less. Overall, this is a perfect app if you follow multiple sports and like to stay updated on the latest Sports News.
